Today’s story was sent in by a reader and took place in Garden River, Ontario on Hwy 17.
“A few years ago, I lived in a house with my rather large family which includes our family dog. The property used to have a church on it but it was torn down and the house was put in its place. I heard the bricks from the church were reused in the building of the home. My bedroom was in the basement of the house which at one time was a workshop. My room always felt creepy and I always had a ‘heavy’ feeling in there.

Late one night, after everyone else had already gone to bed, the dog and I made our way down to the bedroom. He usually slept beside me most nights. I was just lying there looking around the room. My eyes were getting heavier and I lazily closed them for a minute or so.

A strange, uneasy feeling came over me and upon opening my eyes I saw something! It was a man! A very, very tall man, as his head almost touched the ceiling. Although he was only visible for a short amount of time, it felt like an eternity. He seemed old and had wrinkles on his face, white curly hair that touched his shoulders, and he was wearing a fancy suit like something you would see on the Titanic movie or something. He appeared to be upset or mad and just glared at me. I felt frozen in place.

Finally, I heard the dog barking as he bolted out the door and ran up the stairs. I felt like screaming but I couldn’t. At last, I managed to run to the light switch turning it on, and then followed the dog up the stairs. I spent the rest of the night sitting on guard watching T.V. with every light on upstairs. I couldn’t have fallen asleep if I wanted to.” – Anonymous

Ask Tammy

Dear Tammy,

I applied for PSW course last year and was accepted. I backed out because of fear. With many years of therapy and programs, I have come a long way. Now I have applied again for September and I really want to do this. I finally was able to enter the work force for two years now and I am 51 years old. I really want to succeed and embrace this chance I have to better myself. Need your thoughts. Thank you. P.S. I really like this guy. Any thoughts as to whether it’s mutual? – S

Tammy’s Psychic Answer:

I am sorry to hear of your struggles, but also want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on continuing to better yourself and more importantly, challenge yourself. I believe we need to push ourselves into areas outside our comfort zone to continue to grow and flourish.
The hardest part is the first step. We all know the negatives which hold us back, but we must focus on the positives that will help pull us forward. Planning for the future, weighing of options, and assessing your own capabilities, all sound great but only if they do not become obsessive in nature.

You are a reliable, hard worker, full of enthusiasm and have a lot to offer. More than you know at this time. The odds may seem like they are against you, but there are advantages to your position. I believe, if you are courageous and determined, victory will be yours paving the way to opportunity and a positive cycle in life.

Please do not listen to naysayers. It is you who can or cannot reach the goals you set out for yourself, not them. Enjoy every step you take forward, as it is your ‘path of a lifetime’.
P.S. As for the guy you like, I am sorry but I do not think the feelings are mutual. Rest assured though, you are not meant to be alone forever. Have patience. It is time to focus on you and your life. A partner will appear when the time is right.

It may be helpful for YOU to carry the rutilated quartz stone on your body. This is a stone said to help uncover causes of mental issues and hang-ups. It is great to help get you out of a rut, stabilizing emotions and thought patterns. It is said to diminish fears, depression and issues with decision-making. It can also be used to enhance mental and physical stability and to increase one’s self-reliance.
